Personality: When one thinks about it, Emily is everything a man would look for in a bride. She’s kind, playful and very romantic. Like many girls, she’d dreamt of her perfect wedding and believes dutifully in love. Generous can be added to the list, as she knows the perfect wedding present for her husband. She’s also very easy to please, enjoying the simple things in life. The simple things in death as well, of course. The light of the full moon, for one, is something that mesmerizes her. A rather artistic soul, she likes to sing, dance and play the piano. She’s a very open person and as such, the polar opposite of Victoria Everglot, who is a reserved, courteous and timid girl. As Emily’s two animal friends, a maggot and a black widow spider claim firmly; she “has a wonderful personality”.

Of course, there’s also a dark side to the ‘perfect’ bride. She’s somewhat naïve and easily trusts the person she becomes infatuated with. This is what led to her death, after all. Then there’s the jealousy. Seeing Victor with another woman was something that truly upset her, after which she put up quite a fight to show whose husband he was. Even so, her feelings can easily be hurt and when this happens, cheering her up is very difficult. She's very stubborn and trying to change her mind yourself is a near-impossible task.
